This is why I do Rebel Nature

On an amazing beach in Zanzibar where the tide shifts by 3m, this kind of seashell constantly appear from the Indian ocean. We humans are at the top of the food cain so one day we (or our children) will be eating our own trash. Talking about our daily convenience becoming the nightmare of the future. Water is the most precious substance on this planet and anyone with any kind of surplus regardless of religion or political orientation ought to start cleaning up. In the Rebel Nature story nature starts using these new materials and builds them into new lifeforms which has extreme and unpredictable consequences.

Strange sea shells
In the future coral may be no more than a color
Bad tide

  1. Mr Faber, great photographs. I like the metaphorical titles. Very effective. It's good that you're taking a different approach to story telling with Rebel Nature by concentrating on what might happen in the future, rather than basing the story on the past, like most superhero stories. I'm excited to see more! :D

    1. Thank you so much and you are so right. The near future is where we face the biggest and most exciting challenges. That is very inspiring and the good thing is that we can do something about it and make changes.
